Ever wonder where you’d end up if you took your dog for a walk and never once pulled back on the leash?
A Man Walking A Dog
I’m still in the process of writing this, the first book in the Hardy Walker series, adventures of a man who is still skirting the edges of the law after having left behind a life of crime and brutal violence, or at least he’s trying to. Hired by governments for the sake of ‘plausible deniability’, he was a mercenary, a killer and worse; paid to do things he’s still trying to forget. Now, he lives his life the way he sees fit. Most of what little joy remains in his life comes from his only remaining responsibility, his dog Willow. It’s an empty existence, but he likes it this way, paying his bills with "victimless crime" and calming his conscience with vigilante justice whenever the opportunity arises.
Until she walks into his life…
If your interest is piqued—by what little information I have provided here, or perhaps the short excerpt below—please let me know. I’ll send a hard-copy for free to the first ten people who promise to write a short review of the book—let’s say between 50 and 100 words—within six months of receiving it. Just to be clear, if your review is going to be "I loved it!", I’m not going to love it. At all. I’m asking for honest reviews here, with a little substance, it’s not too much to ask for a free hard-copy, surely…
If I use your review, you’ll be credited, if you wish. If you don’t send me your review, you’ll go on my
wall of shame. There’s some more small print, but it’s all pretty simple and fair.
Find out how to get your free hard-copy here.
