If some part of the review is true, those are the ones that sting.
Readers
If you’re a reader and you would like a hard-copy of one of my books for free, you might be in luck. I’d love to have some reader reviews to use in my bio and such, in order to trick would-be readers out of their hard-earned cash and turn them into actual readers. Here then, is your chance to get a free book in return for your opinion of it, in writing.
Please don’t think I’m trying to bribe you into fawning, but if you send me a scathing review, I’m not likely to use it and you won’t be able to boast about your published review after I’ve become famous and my novels are compulsory reading for high-school students the world over. You will, however, still get to keep my—apparently awful—book for free; maybe you can donate it to a thrift-store, or surprise some horrible nephew with it on his birthday.
The rules are quite simple, and boil down to "Please write a few words about the book I gave you, and send them to me", but—for those who need to "be told"—they can be found, in their full, legally-highly-flawed-and-most-likely-untenable glory here.
Please understand that I cannot honour every request, my goal is to sell books, after all.

Book Clubs, Schools and Libraries
I’m a(n aspiring) writer, I have a deep love for books, and I would like to promote reading—in particular the reading of my books.
If you are a member of a book-club and you would like to receive multiple hard-copies for your club, at a discount or possibly for free, I’d be happy to try to accommodate your request.
Schools and (private) libraries are also invited to request copies at a significant discount, or indeed, free. The more people read (my books), the better it is!
Please contact me at this email address to discuss the possibilities:
